Cascina Carolina is a historic Lombard farmhouse dating back to the early 20th century, located in the heart of Monza. It has been completely renovated to preserve the charm and authenticity of its history.
We chose to restore this historic building while retaining some of its original features, including exposed wooden beams, distinctive stone staircases, and architectural details that tell the story of the farmhouse’s past.
At the same time, we have created warm and comfortable spaces designed to offer our guests a modern stay without giving up the unique atmosphere and character of a genuine historic home.

Among the features that best tell the story of Cascina Carolina are its distinctive red bricks, typical of traditional rural architecture in Lombardy. Made according to the building traditions of the time, they give the farmhouse a warm and authentic character while preserving its connection to the local area.
During the renovation, we chose to highlight these original features, keeping the farmhouse’s character and historic identity clearly visible.

The old stone staircase connects the ground floor to the first floor and still preserves the authentic character of the farmhouse to this day.
Alongside the stone, iron also tells part of the home’s story. The iron railing was made on site and hand-welded, following the needs and characteristics of the existing spaces. A simple and functional feature, yet one that reflects the value of craftsmanship and the care taken in restoring the farmhouse.
